11 Jul Our guide to Roermond Designer outlet
So we went on a day trip to Roermond and here is our guide.
Plan your trip
It takes about 2 hours to get to Roermond with train or by car. So make sure you plan this on your day off and have all the time in the world to enjoy this little town. I would say do your share of research or get to know the brands and what to expect out of this trip. Check their website Roermond Designer outlet for brands and special offers.
How to get there?
I think taking a train is the best option. It’s a 2 hours train ride so make sure you have enough supplies of food, drinks and company. Be wise who you choose to go with because the ride is long and the outlet expedition is longer. So you don’t want to stuck with someone who is not going to enjoy shopping as much as you do.
Make a list and prioritise!
So once you get to Roermond you will be overwhelmed with the choices. This could lead to circling around and not knowing what to get. So I went with a plan. I knew I was looking for a bag and my first choice was Prada, which by the way was my final choice too 😉 . Anyhow, the point is know what you want and go through all the choices before you make that final call. So we first went to Prada and then Furla, Coach, Dolce and Gabbana, Gucci, Michael Kors and everything else.
Our favourite brands
Honestly, the outlets can some time be a bit of led down. Because all of them are not good enough. Thank us later but we are going to save you from the horror of not walking into everything. So our 10 favourites were Prada, Calvin Klein Underwear, Gucci, Coach, Furla, Michael Kors, Dolce & Gabbana, Body Shop, Levis & Nike. And 2 stores that really disappointed us were Tommy Hilfiger & Adidas.
We had such a good experience! We are sure going back 🙂
