When I first discovered this gym tote I never thought carrying a gym bag will be so fancy. Well, first of all let’s talk about our everyday struggles. Those who train regularly and have the routine before or after work will understand what I am taking about. That means when we live our homes in the morning we should have everything that takes us through office/gym. So a little rewind back to the days when I didn’t have this gym tote. First of all, I had to carry 2 different bags and the days I took my laptop with me I would have a additional laptop bag. I am not exaggerating at all. Things I carry everyday to work/gym: Lunch box, gym clothes, shoes, bath toiletries, hair/make up kit, another pair of shoes, gym water bottle, headphones and laptop. Thank god to this gym I now just have to carry this one bag that fits everything and looks so damn stylish.

I am now not afraid to make any after work plans. I just go with the wind 😉

I shot some pictures of myself and this is what they look like.Are you thinking why do I do what I do? Don’t get me wrong, It’s great to have a person to follow you around while you pose. However, I really do enjoy posing for myself too. It’s much more challenging to shoot self portraits and stills of your self. It’s like a run between behind the camera to the front of the lens. “Damn Daniel”, I need to get that camera remote to make my life easier.

So I love spending my days off on this kind of things. It let’s my creative juices running. I like to create stories from  my pictures and give a little bit of reality with it. I am not going to lie, this is a long and frustrating process. But you learn a lot from your mistakes. I believe practice and interest can make anything happen. So what are you waiting for, pick up that camera and get clicking. Oh, I watched tons of youtube video on self  photography so you might want to do that 😉

So here I am, perfect outfit with a random post. Well, hope you guys don’t mind me being a bit off  beat today. It’s my birthday and I do what I want to. Haha.. So I am feeling a bit valunerable today and hope thats okay with you.

Vulnerability is the scary thing. It’s to be able to share yourself and make yourself vulnerable and to make yourself vulnerable is to show your strength. It was a year ago that I went on this journey of blogging. Honestly, it took about 6 months before I showed my blog to public. I talked about it a lot to people but it took a lot of courage to be able to finally say “Here I am”. My intention when I started this blog was to be real and build connect with you all.

It’s a year and I am not leaving. So let me know if you think their is anything I can add or do more to keep you going on this journey with me.

Sneakers are everywhere. Once upon a time wearing sneakers with dress was considered cool. I feel we have over played our obsession for  Adidas Stan Smith and Nike Air force 1 to another level. I use to be super excited about styling a unusual combination with my Nike Air force 1. But some how I don’t feel the same. It’s more like getting over your crush and wanting to fall in love all over again. New love is the best love. You feel excited, nervous and look forward to new adventures. Well all this came true when I found my new love. Loafers. Yes, Pink Loafers! Thank you for reminding me what butterflies feel like. I am truly excited and look forward to our adventures together.

I am in love with this shoe. They are comfortable as sneakers, but I find them bit more badass and bold. They mean everything to me. Hope you guys find your true love.

What do you think people who wear pajamas in public have given on life or living it to the fullest? I am going to have to say, FULLEST! Last week I wore this outfit to work and I fell in love. 9 hours in this suit and I start to think, what took me so long to wear my pajamas to work? In fact, I am thinking of getting myself this new pajama blazer that landed in Topshop.

If you’re worried about looking sloppy, don’t be. Look to streets or Pinterest for inspiration. The point here is to keep it simple and let the hero piece do the talking. This trend is all about minimalist chic so keep your accessories simple and add nice pair of heels. If you are a busy bee like me and  have to run up and down the floors for 8 hours then skip heels for cool pair of kicks.

“Don’t ever forget to dress for yourself first and the rest will follow.”

Who do you dress for? Most of you may think how hard it is to answer “myself” But really who do you dress for? Some people dress to please others and make them happy. I some time hear girls say  ” Oh my boyfriend wouldn’t like that” or “No he thinks I am weird when I dress like this .” Women should dress not for men, nor even for other women, but for themselves.

I loved playing dress up as a little girl and it never really stopped for me. I like to have fun with my outfits and be creative. In the last years I have developed a big crush on men T-shits and  shirts. I tend to wear them a lot. They are just so got damn comfortable and I feel really cool when I am comfy. So when he was giving away some T-shirts and shirts, I pounced on the pile and claimed some before anyone could get their hands on. I grew up with 3 other siblings, 2 elder sisters and 1 younger brother.  I use to find his clothes more interesting and occasionally steal haha… No borrow from him. I liked it then and I like it now. Looks like nothing has changed 🙂

We don’t have to be afraid to be ourselves. Don’t let men decide what’s sexy for you, decide for yourself. If you feel sexy and great in a pair of mom jeans. Wear it and don’t give a shit. If sneakers are your thing, wear them everywhere you go. If men could dress women then we all will be stuck in a body con dress forever. Haha.. and that’s my worst fear. Take it from the Icons like Diane Keaton, Chloë Sevigny, and Fran Lebowitz, these women had great sense of personal style and they did it without embracing body con fitted dresses.

And btw, these pictures are taken after work and I am wearing that men t-shirt I was talking about 🙂

I tried this thing called juicing cleanse

Last week I tried juicing cleanse, so here is my experience and everything you need to know about juicing. Honestly, this is one of the hardest thing I have done in my life. This cleanse was on my list for a while now and I finally  had the courage to face this. Some of you may think why Am I so melodramatic. Well, because the hardest part about the detox was psychological and I am so proud that I didn’t cave in.

So here is my experience and fact about juicing. I hope this encourages you to start a healthy lifestyle.

Why did I want to detox?

The first question everyone asked was “Why did you go on this cleanse when you are already skinny? So, first of all I did not start this detox to loose any weight. As most of you know I train hard and workout regularly to stay fit. Last year I was diagnosed for hay fever. So I was sick most of all spring until end of summer. People with this condition will understand how difficult it is to wake up in the morning with itchy eyes and sneezing all day. With this detox I was hoping to boost my immune system for spring. A detox like this is not a cure to hay fever, however I have prescribed medication for this condition.

Fun facts:Research and study says that plant-based juice diet allows food to be assimilated quickly through the intestine — consuming less energy, while the toxin-free, nutrient-dense food helps to repair the gut itself.

Did I loose any weight?

As I said before, I did not go on this cleanse to loose weight. The fact is I did not weigh myself before and after so I wouldn’t know.

What was my diet consist of?

For the last 3 days I only had liquids. No solid food at all. My morning started with 2 glasses of water. Cup of detox tea after half an hour. First juice before leaving to work, I called it mean green because It was less tasty then the rest. It had green apple, spinach, celery, ginger, cucumber and coconut water.

I would make my second juice and carry it with me to work. This was the delicious smoothie which had lots of good stuff for e.g.: banana and almond milk. I will have 2 small cups every 2 hour. By afternoon I was craving for coffee. My body was use to getting caffeine dose around this time so I felt a bit sleepy and had a cup of tea instead. By day 3 I was well adjusted to tea and did not seem to miss caffeine any more.

Then came night, the hardest. My mornings and day went super easy it was the night that I thought of giving in until the last day. My previous routine was work, home, snack, gym and end with light dinner. Well, I stayed in at  nights and and try to keep myself busy. I could not concentrate well at night so instead of fighting I treated myself to house of card marathon.

Did I work out?

I had done some research and reading before going on this cleanse, and it clearly said not to indulge in intense workout and training. I found this extremely difficult to skip gym 3 days in a row. I am a gym junkie and love training. By day 2 I practiced yoga and meditation in the mornings this really helped me calm my nerves and accept the changes.

Was I starving and did I feel hungry?

No. I did not feel hungry. I was drinking every 2 hours which kept full all time.

Was I tired?

Well, I started this on my day off. I knew first day will be the hardest.  On day 2 and 3 I was at work. It went really fast because I was super busy and it kept my mind of food. On my last day I got my period, by this time I didn’t want to quit and start over again. Usually, first day of period I have stomach cramps and severe pain, however on my detox I didn’t have any of these symptoms in fact I felt way better and stronger.

How did this detox help me?

Yes, I feel super energetic and healthy from inside. I have much more energy throughout the day and find it easy to wake up in the morning. Study says that juicing cleanse will help control cravings and excessive eating. After  finishing this cleanse I started to appreciate small things like eating a whole apple. During this detox I realised how much I had missed just eating a whole fruit. Detox like this will help you sustain and build new eating habits.

Do I want to do this cleanse again?

Yes, definitely. I would love to do this every 3 to 6 months.

Most of you must be familiar with this dress over pants hybrid. Since, this been floating around for quite some time. Few celebrities really shocked the fashion world when they showed up in this combo for big red carpet events. This trend can be so much fun and experimentally, from flirty mini to oversized slouchy look. Like the one I am wearing in these pictures. I am a huge fan of oversized flowy dresses, for warmer days I would loose the pants and just go with the dress and sneaker combo.

When in doubt wear double denim. I literally live by this. If you work in Fashion then you are expected to be at your best all the time. Look no further then your basic denim. It’s no secret that fashion world has always secretly adored denim but it’s just now that denim/double denim is taking over the fashion world and there is no looking back. Fashion week showed us creative ways of embracing  jeans with your own sense of personal style.

Today we are talking about the new trend thats taking over the street style, runways and magazine editorials. It’s end of the Era for over the shoulder coat and we have officially moved on to forced shoulder exposure. We believe this trend makes our outfit and pictures look way cooler. Good morning lovers,

It’s been a long time since my last fitness post, so today I am sharing some of my essentials for running. I love running outdoor during spring. Spring is so special, it’s natures way of saying let’s party. The rain brings the life back to plants and soon it’s all lush green around

                        ” Anyone who thinks sunshine is pure happiness has never run in the rain”

Since spring is all about running for us, we decided to share some of our favourite running essential. If you want to take running seriously then it’s very important to invest into proper running gear. During my days off I like to go for long distance run… 10KM or more. So my feet needs all the support and cushioning to prevent injury and henance performance. Last month I treated myself to Nike Zoom Vomero 11, I am so happy with them. They are perfect for outdoor long runs and give great cushioning and support.

Spring is kinda of in between weather, not too cold nor too hot. So I have to be carefully what I wear. Extra layers might feel comfortable in the beginning but after a mile it could be a burden and slow you down. I am in love with my long sleeve shirt., It’s perfect for almost every weather. During winter I like to wear a jacket over it, but for slightly warmer days just the shirt is enough. It keeps me super warm and dry. The Dri-Fit fabric evaporates liquids super fast, keeping you nice and dry through out your run. Spring means lots of unexpected showers, I highly recommend to use Nike Dri-Fit as it’s engineered to soak sweat and water and evaporate faster.
