Is comfort dressing a thing. For me I like comfort dressing and it’s definitely my thing. Getting dress in the morning for work sometime can be messy. After all it’s a Monday! So on days like this let the comfort dressing be your thing however keep in mind to upgrade or add few fun elements like earrings, shoes etc. I have always liked jeans and sweater combo especially with some unexpected accessory.

Is it Monday again?

First of all, I think our struggle is real when we wake up and realise it’s Monday already. Everything seems so slow but somehow the time is running faster then you realise. Some Mondays can even start with “I have nothing to wear”!

Well, I had this feeling few times last week after moving into our new home. When you have 15mins to get ready and leave, you got to be quick, smart and creative. It’s then that i realised that I stuck to my favourite denim and white shirt that I can’t live without and of course I let my personal style do the creative bit. So guys, once again believe in the power of personal style and white shirt. God knows how many times I have said this “I have a white shirt for all occasion”. Well this really helped! So any time you feel lost in your closet and don’t have anything to wear. Close your eyes and think about that one thing you would live and die in. Easier, just stick to my denim and white shirt combo, I promise it will never disappoint you.

Have a nice week you’ll!

“Don’t ever forget to dress for yourself first and the rest will follow.”

Who do you dress for? Most of you may think how hard it is to answer “myself” But really who do you dress for? Some people dress to please others and make them happy. I some time hear girls say  ” Oh my boyfriend wouldn’t like that” or “No he thinks I am weird when I dress like this .” Women should dress not for men, nor even for other women, but for themselves.

I loved playing dress up as a little girl and it never really stopped for me. I like to have fun with my outfits and be creative. In the last years I have developed a big crush on men T-shits and  shirts. I tend to wear them a lot. They are just so got damn comfortable and I feel really cool when I am comfy. So when he was giving away some T-shirts and shirts, I pounced on the pile and claimed some before anyone could get their hands on. I grew up with 3 other siblings, 2 elder sisters and 1 younger brother.  I use to find his clothes more interesting and occasionally steal haha… No borrow from him. I liked it then and I like it now. Looks like nothing has changed 🙂

We don’t have to be afraid to be ourselves. Don’t let men decide what’s sexy for you, decide for yourself. If you feel sexy and great in a pair of mom jeans. Wear it and don’t give a shit. If sneakers are your thing, wear them everywhere you go. If men could dress women then we all will be stuck in a body con dress forever. Haha.. and that’s my worst fear. Take it from the Icons like Diane Keaton, Chloë Sevigny, and Fran Lebowitz, these women had great sense of personal style and they did it without embracing body con fitted dresses.

And btw, these pictures are taken after work and I am wearing that men t-shirt I was talking about 🙂

Happy week girlies!

It’s monday morning and happy to not start my day with tourists screaming outside my window. If you follow me on snapchat… the chances are, you know what I am talking about. For the rest of you, last week we celebrated Sail Amsterdam 2015. It’s a once every 5 year event and the tiny city of Amsterdam is inflated with 2 million tourist. As much as I enjoyed it, I am so happy it’s finally over.

Fall winter 2015-2016 is all about celebrating your own personal style. Punk, Pastels for winter, Vinly, Military Style, Velvet nights the list goes on. As we continue to see 70’s boho influence transition into fall & winter. Pretty florals and pussy bow tie is the key for this season. As for me I love both and can’t wait to share my own outfits and look.

Style is very personal and clothing is a form of self expression. There is always going to be hint of how we are and what we feel. So, this look is a mix & match of punk rock into 70’s boho sort of patch work. Some times I like to wear all black look and throw in some splashes of colour. The best thing about shooting this look was the UNEXPECTED location. It definitely adds some grunge to feeling to it.

Have a great week everyone 🙂
